Research interests
I am interested in a systems perspective of agroecosystems, understanding the relationships between different components of socio-ecological contexts and their human-nature connectedness. Currently, I am studying the impacts of drought and the processes driving drought vulnerability at different levels, including the soil-plant interaction, the farm level, and the landscape. I will include field and lab measurements, besides social factors, to include the experience of farmers and comprehend the context of their management practices. My goal is to contribute to the development of food sovereignty and sustainability in the long term.
